Uses of Laser Skin Resurfacing
Laser skin resurfacing is a medical procedure used to reduce skin irregularities, facial wrinkles such as acne scars and blemishes. The method directs concentrated, short pulsating light beams at uneven skin. Laser resurfacing eliminates skin very accurately, layer by layer. This popular treatment is known by various other labels including laser peel or laser vaporization. When you have wrinkles and fine lines around the mount, on the forehead or eyes, blemishes from acne or non-reactive skin after a face lift, then you can be a good candidate for laser resurfacing. But if you have a very dark skin or if you have active acne, you cannot be a candidate.
